Spine · For event power

Real-time control and monitoring for every distribution board on your event.

Power use, climate, fuel, CO₂ and predictive alarms — vendor village, food traders, side stages and welfare compound, all on one platform. Production reference at Renta; deployed at Finnish festivals including Kuopio Wine Festival and Ilosaarirock.

The platform

Four areas. One platform. One screen.

Spine runs on the same device whether it sits on a construction-site board or a festival vendor-village board. Refrigeration trips on Saturday afternoon are the Climate pillar; per-generator fuel for the AGF audit is Power; vendor-village distribution boards live across all four.

The Spine portal

What your operations team sees.

Three views from the production portal Renta runs across its hire fleet.

Spine portal site layout view — colour-coded per board
01
Site layout
Colour-coded board status across the event. Live load percentage per outlet. Building-level view collapses to per-board, per-rental detail. Green = within margin, amber = elevated, red = trip risk.
Spine portal energy report — kWh, cost, CO₂ per device
02
Energy report
kWh, cost, CO₂ emissions per device. Per-rental aggregates roll up to per-event or per-project totals. CSV and Partner API export for AGF audit and ISO 20121 submissions.
Spine portal fleet devices view — multi-board live monitoring
03
Fleet devices
Multi-board live view with per-device load and voltage. Photos of each installed Spine unit. Real-time amperage, fault flags and predictive alarms. This is what runs across Renta's depots today.
Use cases

Where Spine pays back on the event week.

Three deployment scenarios drawn from production references at Finnish festivals including Kuopio Wine Festival and Ilosaarirock.

Vendor village

Refrigeration, payment and welfare reliability.

Catch a failing food vendor refrigeration board before product loss. Live temperature and load per cabinet; predictive alarms before a trip becomes warm beer, broken cash registers or unpaid traders. The Kuopio Wine Festival pattern.

G
Generators

Load balancing across the genset fleet.

Stop overload trips on side stages and welfare compounds. Automatic auxiliary load shedding redistributes demand across generators based on real load, not nameplate kVA. Fewer trucks. Lower fuel cost per kWh delivered.

Compliance & audit

A Greener Future and ISO 20121 reporting.

Per-generator fuel and CO₂ data captured natively. Full event-week record exports as CSV or via the Partner API — structured for AGF audit submissions, ISO 20121 records and sponsor sustainability reporting.

Before the call

Common questions.

Spine sits downstream of your main generator hire on the secondary distribution. It captures A Greener Future (AGF) audit data and BS 7909 records straight out of the unit. It does not replace bundled-service contracts for headline stages.

Who runs Spine in production today?

Renta runs Spine inside their RentaEasy customer portal. Renta is the lead reference; more deployments available under NDA. Renta operates 190 depots across Northern Europe with 2,300 employees.

Can we deploy for a 3-day event?

Yes. Spine ships as Plug & Play. Deployment per board takes minutes — no on-site reconfiguration, no static IP setup, no SIM contracts. 4G auto-connects to the strongest local network on first power-up. Data starts flowing within five minutes per device.

Can we export AGF audit and ISO 20121 data?

Yes. Per-generator fuel and CO₂ data is captured natively. Full event-week record exports as CSV or via the Partner API. The output is structured for AGF audit submissions and sponsor sustainability reporting; specific formatting is configured per project.

What IP rating does the hardware have?

Event deployments ship in IP65 enclosures suitable for outdoor festival use. Higher ratings (IP66, IP67) available per project. CE marked.

What about main-stage power supply?

Spine is not a main-stage power solution. The main stage has dedicated power infrastructure and a power engineer on shift; we don't replace that. Spine's value is the ring main, the food traders, the side stages, the refrigeration and the cash infrastructure — the surface area no one has time to watch in real time.

How is Spine priced?

Per-device + license, per-event or per-deployment. Indicative pricing is included in the deployment spec sheet you request below — typical event-week deployment cost is sent in the PDF, with full quote prepared after the project conversation.

Request the specification

Request the Spine deployment specification.

The specification PDF covers: hardware datasheet, deployment timeline, A Greener Future audit and ISO 20121 export samples, indicative pricing band for an event-week, and what is and is not in scope of a Spine deployment.

Specifications and pricing are prepared per project. Add context on your setup or specific requirements in the message field below.
